Insulated Glass is a kind of hollowed glass made of two or more pieces of glass sheets separated by aluminum frame that filled with molecular sieve (drying agent). The frame is stuck and sealed by butyl glue on the glass surfaces and Thiokol or silica gel seals all outside edges. Filling gas inside the glass cavity can strengthen its sound insulation property efficiently.

1.Energy saving: Because K-value (coefficient of heat conduction) of insulated glass is lower than single glass (K-value of single glass is 5.8, while that of common insulated glass is 3.0), energy consumption will be greatly reduced if insulted glass is used especially in air conditioning and heating environment.
2.Sound insulating: a window with insulated glass can reduce noise level to RW-45dB indoors from RW-86dB outdoors. It's what single glass cannot perform.
3.Safety: for the structure of double glazing, insulated glass results in higher resistance of wind and impact, which is much suitable for high-rise coastal buildings, trains and ships.
4.Antidewing: for its lower humidity permeability, insulated glass will not dew even circumstanced a big temperature difference between indoor and outdoor. In winter with such a circumstance, doors and windows made of single glass will dew but those of insulated glass will not, which can provide you a comfortable interior environment.
